A Celebration of Youth, Innovation, and Purposeful Journeys

On June 10, 2025, the Career Counseling Office at the Municipality of Tirana buzzed with energy, creativity, and ambition as it hosted the third edition of Youth Talks — a platform that has become a tradition for peer-to-peer inspiration and knowledge sharing among high school students.

This year’s theme, “Paths with Purpose,” brought together a diverse group of young changemakers and innovators who are shaping the future with passion and purpose. The event welcomed students from 11th and 12th grades, offering them a front-row seat to stories of entrepreneurship, sustainability, and creativity.

Arbër Satka, founder of BIOLIVE, opened the event with a powerful message about sustainability and local empowerment. His company produces and exports premium extra virgin olive oil, promoting native Albanian olive varieties and supporting local farmers through a sustainable value chain.

Egla Saliasi, project coordinator for “Empowering Women and Promoting Entrepreneurship,” shared insights into how the Municipality of Tirana is supporting women-led businesses in fields like handicrafts, agribusiness, IT, and services.

Enxhi Nasto, the creative mind behind the start-up “Kica Ndryshe,” introduced an innovative dental education app for children. Her project empowers parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s oral health through engaging, tech-driven solutions.

Kristiana Ilia, founder of “Born to be Kristiana ILIA,” shared her journey of turning a passion for handmade accessories into a thriving online business. Her story highlighted the power of creativity, persistence, and the value of artisanal work in a digital age.

The event wasn’t just about listening — it was about engaging. Students had the opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas, and connect with the speakers in a dynamic Q&A session. The morning wrapped up with a coffee break, where conversations continued and new connections were made.

Youth Talks is more than an event — it’s a vivid peer to peer youth platform. Hosted annually by the Career Counseling Office of the Municipality of Tirana, it provides a platform for young people to learn from each other, share their journeys, and get inspired to pursue their own purposeful paths.
